Feedback from our students:
I thoroughly enjoyed every lesson we had in Course 1. Nobuhle is a wonderful teacher, and she made the introduction to learning a new language a lot less daunting. I felt comfortable speaking in class even if I wasn’t sure if I was correct as she created a judgement-free zone. Her positivity and passion for teaching made it such an enjoyable experience. (Abbi Lorenz – 2024)
I really enjoyed doing the two courses. I thought the material was excellent and I LOVED having Masi as my teacher. He made learning fun and always explained when I did not understand. (Leilah Seris – 2023)
I must say, Nobuhle is amazing!! Besides being a great teacher, she is also a great cheerleader, making you feel better at the end of the day, full of compliments even if you are struggling!! I will recommend you to friends and family! (Heinrich Wobbe – 2023)
I completed Course One today with Titshalakazi Nobuhle. She is absolutely wonderful. Encouraging, friendly, passionate and kind. I learnt to love the language and Xhosa culture more because of her. Please do share my congratulations to the team in Xhosa Fundis. (Lucille Meyer – 2023)
All the Xhosa Fundis teachers are so helpful and personally involved in the teaching. They help at whatever level is needed. Xhosa Fundis is a language school like no other! (Cathy Wahl – 2021)
I just wanted to let you know how valuable the courses have been for me. The format and flow of the lessons are spot on. More than perfect! (Bianca Browne – 2021)
I have thoroughly enjoyed my lessons. I found Masi to be delightful, bright, an excellent tutor with a sparkling personality. He was patient and thorough in his explanations/guidance and fully ‘engaged’ at all times. (Graham Vass – 2020)
I thoroughly enjoyed Course 2 with Sibu! His calm, patient and gentle nature greatly enhanced my learning. His sense of humour and clear passion for the language kept us all engaged and enthusiastic. (Joanie Mitchell – 2020)
I have enjoyed every minute of my time learning isiXhosa with Xhosa Fundis. The weekly online classes with Masi have become the highlight of my week. Masi is an excellent and enthusiastic teacher, who makes learning a new language both fun, and interesting. The courses are exceptionally well structured and managed by Kyle and her team. My only regret is not starting sooner. (Joseph Rom – 2020)
I’ve just finished Course 2 with Sibu. Many thanks to Sibu – he’s a great teacher and really challenged us to expand our understanding of Xhosa in this second course. (Maike Hamann – 2020)
I really enjoyed the course and am definitely going to do no 3. Sibu was great. He explained things well, had a great sense of humour and all round an excellent teacher. (Sandy Mitchell – 2020)
