SIBULELE MAGINI hails from Peddie in the Eastern Cape. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and his teaching qualification (PGCE) from Rhodes University. Sibulele has a background in community and campus publications but finds his passion in teaching, writing and promoting his mother tongue, isiXhosa. He minored in isiXhosa and completed two modules in Translation Studies, looking at translation theories, methods and practice tasks. Sibulele has a very generous nature, and a warm sense of humour. His most quirky trait is that he likes circling around a room when he’s thinking.
